All you need to know about staying in our apartment

Checking In

A few days before your arrival, you will receive an email with check-in instructions. We would need to know your time of arrival so that the property manager could meet you, give you the keys to the apartment, and explain to you how things work.

• The usual check-in time is after 3pm.
• If you are checking in after 10pm, there will be an additional charge of 20 euros.
• If you arrive after midnight, the additional charge will be 50 euros.

Checking Out

Please inform us of your checkout time, so that we could arrange the cleaning of the apartment and get the keys from you. Please follow these things for checkout:

• Check-out time is 11 am.
• Please take out any trash bags from the kitchen only to the outdoor trash bins.
• Please leave the sheets on the bed upon checkout.
• Please turn out the lights when you leave.
• Please turn off the air conditioners in both rooms.
• Please close all windows and balcony doors.
• Leave the keys on the entry table and lock the door behind you.

TV

The apartment has a 55” Samsung Smart TV that has all popular streaming services. Use your own account to login to the streaming programs. When you checkout, please put the remote control near the TV with the solar cell facing up.

Dishwasher

The Bosch dishwasher requires standard dishwasher cubes that can be bought in any supermarket or local convenience store (like Supermercado Udaco on the next block of Calle Santander).

Air Conditioner / Heater

The apartment is equipped with mini-split units located in the bedroom and living room. Each unit has its own remote control. PLEASE - when you checkout, place the remote control from the bedroom air conditioner on the night table and the remote control from the living room air conditioner on the bar table.

Window Awning (Tolda)

There are 2 awnings – one in the living room and one on the balcony. They are operated by a single remote control. Select 0 to operate both units simultaneously. Select 1 or 2 to operate the balcony unit or living room unit. PLEASE - when you checkout, leave the remote control for the awnings on the white cabinet near the windows.

Washer / Dryer

There is a Bosch combo washer/dryer. It’s best to use the liquid washer, which is located in the tall cabinet in the bathroom. If you would like to dry your clothing in the air, the balcony has a drying rack (stored behind the brown storage case).

Garbage / Trash

The trash bucket is located under the sink in the kitchen on the left side. The bucket takes 50-liter bags. For convenience, there is a small wicker canister on the top of the kitchen counter that can be used for small trash items, and when full, should be emptied into the large bucket. The trash can be taken out to the large trash containers located at the corner of Calle Vigo and Santander.

Vacuum Cleaner, Floor Cleaning

The cordless vacuum cleaner is located below the sink in the kitchen. It has several attachments for different vacuuming needs. The vacuum needs to be charged for optimal operation as the Turbo mode drains the power quickly. Floor cleaning equipment (mop and bucket) is located in the storage cabinet on the balcony.

Filtered Water

The left knob of the kitchen faucet is connected to a water filter. The filtered water tastes fantastic!
